The International System Of Typographic Picture Education was developed by the Viennese social scientist and philosopher Otto Neurath(1882-1945) as a method for visual statistics1. The work appropriates symbols from the standardised pictorial language of ISOTYPE, drawing connections to the social engineering of post war modernism. Moreover to illustrate two basic questions around the social graph: who is responsible for its material structures and its classification system?
